Corrosion-resistant pumps are specified where the chemistry of the pumped liquid requires materials with greater resistance to corrosion than conventional pump construction. Selection should consider the liquid type and concentration, temperature, solids content, hydraulic requirements and the compatibility of wetted components and sealing materials.
Tsurumi offers corrosion-resistant solutions across different materials and pumping duties. Resin and 304 stainless-steel ranges including PN, PNI, PU and PSF provide corrosion resistance for suitable wastewater applications. For more aggressive and corrosive liquids, the SFQ Series uses cast 316 stainless-steel wetted components and provides high-head performance. For seawater applications, the TM Series combines titanium and resin construction specifically designed for seawater service. Automatic and auto-alternation variants are available on selected ranges.
